The Air Max 1 revival has been running strong all year, from new colorways to retros and even the reintroduction of the OG Big Bubble. New colorways like the “Bronze” and the 2-piece Puerto Rico Day Pack have led the charge to introduce a new generation of sneakerheads to one of the silhouettes that started it all. Now Nike is giving the Air Max 1 the gift of one of the brand's most influential colorways, the "UNC."
The Nike Air Max 1 University Blue uses photon dust on the uppers with a white mesh toebox, a combination we've seen multiple times already this year. The mudguard utilizes the familiar university blue along with the swoosh and sock liner. A jet-black outsole gives the shoes just the slightest bit of contrast. The exposed air bubbles also display the UNC colors to complete the undercarriage.
The Nike Air Max 1 University Blue will be released on November 23rd with a $140 sticker. The kicks are releasing on Nike and other select retailers, so tune in to our Twitter and Instagram for more details.
