Nike Air Max Puerto Rico "Blue Gale" To Release July 27th

Even though the annual New York City Puerto Rican Day Parade came and went nearly six weeks ago, Nike can still release their yearly sneaker collection. The 2023 Puerto Rican Day offering included two Nike Air Max 1s, with the "Orange Frost" released last month and the upcoming "Blue Gale." The "Blue Gale" did indeed release at a small number of boutiques, but now we'll see a wider release via the SNKRS App. 

This year's Nike Air Max 1 Puerto Rico pack is themed after a famous Puerto Rican frozen treat called "piraguas," similar to the shaved ice you see in the U.S. The "Blue Gale" is the more limited and sought-after of the two-pack release and uses a mixture of suede and leather on the uppers. The crepes use a blue-gale-colored mudguard and a barely-blue tone on the overlays and on the jewel-swoosh feature. A cream color is draped over the toe box and collar, and decorative Puerto Rico branded dubraes round out the design package.

The Nike Air Max 1 Puerto Rico "Blue Gale" will be released on the SNKRS App on July 27th for $140. The Nike Puerto Rico pack will indeed return, so follow us on Twitter and Instagram for updates on the next release.
