After Nike celebrated the 35th anniversary of the Air Max 1 last year with a host of new releases we thought they would pump the brakes a little. Not the case. In 2023 Nike has kept the foot on the Air Max 1 gas pedal releasing colorway after colorway. They even reintroduced the OG Big Bubble. Now, Nike has introduced us to the next offering from the Air Max 1 line with the forthcoming Bronze colorway.
Keeping with the theme of the muted, softer toned releases like the recent Air Max 1 Mica Green and Soft Grey, the Bronze comes to us in earthy tones. A light khaki-colored suede and white mesh comprise the majority of the upper while a tumbled bronze leather is used for the signature wrap around panel and swoosh. The Air Max 1 Bronze features a bright white midsole and both black and bronze on the undercarriage.
A tentative date of July 7 has been set for the Air Max 1 Bronze release via the SNKRS App and at other select retailers nationwide with a price tag of $150.
