When Nike released the OG Air Max 1 Big Bubble on Air Max this year they teased that it would not be the last colorway to receive the OG treatment. With the original Tinker Hatfield design on the rise, the second of the 1986 model colorways has emerged.
The Air Max 1 86 Light Silver has been officially loaded up by Nike and comes to us in a somewhat muted offering. From bottom to top, the shoe has an anthracite outsole and white midsole housing the infamous Big Bubble. Anthracite is used again for the silhouette's signature wrap-around panel and swoosh. Moving further up the shoe we see the light silver make its way to the mixed leather and mesh upper. The shoes will also be packaged in a distressed black and red box similar to the treatments we saw on the Air Jordan 1 Chicago Lost & Found.
Rumor has it that the Air Max 1 86 Light Silver will be part of the Swoosh’s annual holiday lineup and will carry a $150 price tag. When the time does come, expect to see a release via the SNKRS App and other select retailers nationwide.
