Colombian singer J Balvin is teaming up with Jordan Brand for a 4th time and will release the Air Jordan 3 "Rio" slated for Summer 2024. With their first partnership in December 2020, we've seen Balvin and Jordan Brand work on 3 different Jordan silhouettes. This time around, we'll be seeing another Air Jordan 3, following the most recent Air Jordan 3 "Medllín Sunset," which was released earlier this year. This sneaker has been attributed to Balvin's son, Rio. Be sure to watch for more updates regarding the official release date and images on our page.
The J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 "Rio" will feature a minimalistic design with red/orange gradient accents around the sneaker. The upper will be constructed of a sleek black leather base, with the classic grey elephant print found on the mudguards. Most notably, you'll find the red/orange gradient on the heel, rear midsole, and outsole of the sneaker. You'll also find that the heel tab is semi-translucent and will sport the classic smiley face on many of J Balvin's collaborations.
