It’s no secret that the Jordan brand likes to use the Super Bowl as a platform to introduce the world to new Jordans. In recent memory, the Justin Timberlake Jordan 3s, J Balvin Jordan 1’s, Travis Soctt Highs, and Lows have made their debut during Super Bowl halftime shows. When the star-studded Death Row Records crew took the stage at Super Bowl LVI in 2022 the Jordan brand seized the opportunity once again with the Slim Shady Air Jordan 3’s.
Eminem and Nike have collaborated in the past with a number of Jordans, Air Maxes, and Air Force 1s and they have all been some of the most limited and elusive releases of all time. The Slim Shady 3’s fit that bill perfectly. Built on the base of a Fire Red Air Jordan 3 and features plenty of Eminem branding. From the backward “E” on the tongue, to the “Hi My Name Is Slim Shady” tags on the heel, and the Shady Records logo stitched on the inside of the tongue, the shoe is the epitome of a PE.
While it's highly unlikely the Slim Shady Air Jordan 3 will ever be released to the public, Terror Squad member and renowned sneaker collector, Mayor, was able to secure his pair somehow. Mayor was kind enough to share some pics of his pair so the rest of us will have to settle for some window shopping. If the swoosh decides to change course and drop the Slim Shady’s you can be sure we will have all the info right here for you.
