Update (5/09/23): J. Balvin has been spotted in Miami this past weekend wearing his upcoming Air Jordan 3 collaboration. The artist was seen at Miami's Formula 1 Race and again courtside at Miami Heat's NBA playoff game rocking the upcoming release. The design features bold and playful colors, inspired by the Medellín sunset alongside a sail leather upper. the J. Balvin x Air Jordan 3 is currently expected to launch on September 2nd for a retail price of $250.

J Balvin is a Colombian reggaeton artist who rose to fame with his hit single "Mi Gente" in 2017. He's made a name for himself by blending reggaeton, hip-hop, and dance music to create his own style. J Balvin also has a love for sneakers, particularly Jordans. The singer has partnered with Jordan Brand in the past and released his very own Air Jordan 1.

Now rumors have begun to circulate that the artist will be collaborating with Jordan Brand once again for an Air Jordan 3 model. In 2022, J Balvin worked with Jordan Brand on an Air Jordan 2 that came in shades of blue. The continued partnership is proof of Jordan Brands' trust in J Balvin and a testament to the success of the previous collaborations. The collaboration will also feature a collaborative apparel line to celebrate the artist. According to reliable sources, the model is expected to release in full family sizing on September 23rd, 2023 via the Nike SNKRS app and at select Jordan Brand retailers.
