Jordan Brand is set to release the Air Jordan 1 KO Low in a classic Bred colorway for Summer 2023. The shoe pays homage to the original 1985 release of the Air Jordan 1 KO. In February of 2023 Union Los Angeles released a duo of AJKO Lows alongside Jordan Brand, now the Jumpman brand will take advantage of the hype train.
Originally debuting in 1986, the Air Jordan 1 KO, also known as the AJKO, was created as a cheaper version of the original Air Jordan 1 High. This latest release features a full black and red canvas base with red leather Swooshes and heels. The shoe is accentuated with red Nike logos on the tongue tags and insoles and black Wings embroidery on the heels. Completing the design are black nylon tongues, sizing stamped on the inner lining, a white midsole, and a red rubber outsole. Fans of the Air Jordan 1 KO will appreciate this classic and sleek “Bred” colorway that pays homage to the shoe’s original release. No official images of the pair have surfaced, meaning the pair is subject to changes.
The Air Jordan 1 KO Low Bred is expected to release on July 1st, 2023, on Nike.com and select Jordan Brand retailers for $120. No word on the size run, but we'll make sure to keep you updated as the information arises.
