In addition to this suspension, the Memphis Grizzlies have suspended Morant from all team activities while the league investigates the situation. Morant will also be required to meet conditions set by the NBA before returning to the court reported by The Athletic. In a statement by Morant, he stated that "I've had time to reflect and I realize how much hurt I've caused. I want to apologize to the NBA, the Grizzlies, my teammates, and the city of Memphis."
