Every young basketball player has visions of winning championships and having their own signature sneaker to win it in. For Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards, half of that dream just came true. Edwards signed an endorsement deal with Adidas right after being drafted, and his signature shoe has been under development ever since.
A lone leaked image of the shoe has surfaced, but all other details are still shrouded in secrecy. The shoe appears to have a neoprene bootie on the base layer that is cloaked in black. The main feature of the shoe is TPU (presumably) overlay with a cage-like design decreasing in an aqua tone. Adidas branding on the heel and round-style laces are all we know about the shoe at this point.
There’s nothing known about drop dates and pricing, but typical release patterns would suggest they could be ready for the start of the next NBA season or perhaps at the All-Star break.
