JJJJound Teases Salomon XT-Wings 2 Collab

The Montreal-based design studio JJJJound is known for its minimalist designs. Their commitment to timeless and understated concepts has made them one of the most sought-after collaborative partners in the sneaker game. Their previous works with powerhouses like New Balance, Adidas, and Asics have been super successful and now the brand is expanding their portfolio.

JJJJound recently took to Instagram to announce their first project in collaboration with the outdoor-centric sneaker retailer Salomon. The collaboration will use the XT-Wings 2 model and will feature a blue and white color palette. The sneak peek only showed a portion of the shoe which has an off-white 3D Mesh and TPU-based upper with royal blue highlights and JJJJound branding. The All Terrain Contagrip outsole is built for durability on any surface in any condition and uses the same colors as the upper.

The JJJJound x Salomon XT-Wings 2 is set for Spring/Summer 2023 release so we should expect to see more details very soon. The standard XT-Wings 2 retail for $160 but JJJJound collabs usually come at a premium compared to base models. If typical JJJJound release procedures hold true expect to see the pair first release via JJJJounds online shop and then on Salomon at a later date.
