Adidas Originals Introduces Retro Inspired Manchester United Collection
Even though Manchester United is quite a few points away from the top of the English Premier League table this season they’re still receiving a nice rollout from Adidas. The Trefoil recently introduced a collection of 80s-90s style apparel inspired by the kind of pieces Man U players and fans may have worn to away games during that era.
The crown jewel of the 9-piece Manchester United x Adidas Originals drop is a road blue jersey worn by the team in the 1988-1990 campaigns. The kit also includes a blue and black hoodie emblazoned with the team's logo similar to the one worn off-field by Man U players. There are 4 different co-branded t-shirts available in a range of colors and designs as well. The lone piece of outerwear in the collection comes in the form of a ¾ length shell jacket known as the Man Utd x Bench Jacket to keep players and fans warm when the weather doesn’t cooperate.
The Manchester United x Adidas Originals collection is currently available from Adidas and will soon be available from other select retailers worldwide.
