It’s no secret that Kith founder Ronnie Fieg is the undisputed King Of Collaboration. Since his first New Balance co-design back in the late 1990’s the streets knew that the force was strong with him. He’s collaborated on everything from a BMW to ice cream cones. Through all of it, his true north has always been sneakers and streetwear.
The first pair of pants he ever designed ended up making him an instant success in the design world. Some even call him The Godfather of Streetwear. Since then he’s worked with all likes of brands, labels, and design houses to create new works. However, his newest streetwear collab is with a rather unlikely partner. Star Wars, yes that Star Wars.
Though the two have joined heads in the past, this collection is special. This collection will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi. There isn’t much known about what pieces will be included in the collection but the previous drop included apparel, accessories, and even home goods.
The premier drop will take place at a New York City theater on May 1 where Star Wars fans will have the chance to shop the collection and enjoy a special screening of the movie. A global release will then take place on International Star Wars Day, May the 4th (be with you) via Kith’s online platforms.
The only tease of the collection came in the form of a 1-minute video from Kith so until then take a look at some of the pieces from the previous pictures below. Don't forget to follow us on Twitter and Instagram for all the latest news on sneakers, streetwear, and collectibles.
