The king of the collab is at it again. With hundreds of collaborations on his resume Kith founder, Ronnie Fieg, seems to drop more heat than some of the major brands these days. Fresh off his super successful Kith x Clark’s x Adidas Samba release, Fieg is ready to release a New Balance 998.
To celebrate the New Balance 998’s 35 birthday Fieg partnered with the Frank Lloyd Wright foundation to produce the special collab. The shoes feature a host of earth tones and premium materials. A shaggy suede is used for the majority of the upper with soft orange toe box, khaki-colored quarter panel and sage green heel cap. The multi-colored shoe has a cream-colored midsole, green sockliner and hiking boot style laces.
If you want a pair of the Ronnie Fieg x New Balance 998’s you're going to have multiple chances depending on where you live. According to Fieg, the 998’s will debut on April 14 at Kith’s Tokyo flagship and then at a Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation building in Scottsdale, Arizona on April 15. If you can’t make it to either of those, the pair will be available as a special edition of Kith’s storied Monday Program online and at all Kith locations on April 17.
