Jalen Hurts Becomes The Newest Jordan Brand Athlete

Things are good for Jalen Hurts right now. Fresh off an appearance in Super Bowl LVII, Hurts inked a 5-year $255 Million contract this offseason. As if that weren’t enough, he’s now become an official member of the Jordan brand roster. Hurts becomes the third NFL quarterback to ink a deal with Jordan joining Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers rising star Bryce Young.

Hurts’ affiliation with the Jordan brand is nothing new; he completed his college career as an Oklahoma Sooner, one of a handful of Jumpman-sponsored collegiate programs. Last season Hurts was seen wearing a different player-exclusive pair of Jordan cleats that included everything from Concord 11s to Pine Green 1’s and even a previously unseen colorway of black and green 12s.

Now that Hurts is an actual Jordan brand athlete, who knows what we’ll see. Maybe Travis Scott will put the reverse swoosh on a football spike, or perhaps we’ll see a different retro turned into a cleat every week when he laces up. We’ll have a close eye on it, so check in with us on Twitter and Instagram for potential developments..
