Every year some of the best street ballers descend on Paris, France for the annual Quai 54 tournament. 2023 marks the 20th anniversary of the celebration of basketball and hip-hop culture that is sponsored by the Jordan brand. Each year a collection of apparel and sneakers is released to commemorate the tournament and the first looks at this year's collection have begun to surface.
The Air Jordan 1 Low Quai 54 is a relatively simplistic presentation with solid color blocking in place of the usual patterns we’ve seen in years past. The lows use a black nubuck skeleton with white medial panels and alternating red and green panels on the toe box and heel to give the shoes a mismatched treatment. A sail midsole and red outsole are topped off by Jumpman and Quai 54 logos on the tongue.
The Air Jordan 1 Low Quai 54 is likely the first of many pieces of the annual collection that has included multiple sneaker releases in years past. Expect to see the Air Jordan 1 Low Quai 54 load up for release on the Nike SNKRS App for $120 along with the rest of the upcoming collection.
