Over the past few months, we’ve seen a barrage of Player Exclusive (PE) Air Jordan 1 Low OGs filter out for Jordan brand schools. To date, 8 schools that have Jordan endorsement deals for footwear and uniforms have been granted the PE treatment and they’re some of the best-looking Jordans we’ve seen in a long time.
Student-athletes UNC, UCLA, Florida, Howard, Oklahoma, Marquette, Michigan, and Georgetown have all received the low tops fitted in their school colors. All the shoes have the Chicago-style color blocking where the tip, eye stays, heel, color, sock liner, and outsole use the primary color. The toebox, medial, and midsoles use either white or sail and the swoosh and tongue tag use the secondary color.
The PE’s all feature the most premium materials the Swoosh has to offer with the primary color panels constructed in cracked leather and white soft tumbled leather found on the Lost & Found Air Jordan 1’s. Jordan brand rolled out the red carpet on the inner part of the shoe as well with a quilted sock liner similar to the A Ma Maniere Air Jordan 4 and an insole to match the school's colors.
If you’re fortunate enough to be one of the student-athletes that receive these PEs consider yourself extremely lucky as sneakerheads across the globe are feverishly on the hunt for the ultra-exclusive kicks.
