Nike Basketball and NBA star, Devin Booker, released Booker's first signature sneaker, the Nike Book 1 back in September 2023. Since then, we've seen a few new colorways release, however, we have yet to see a global release of the shoe. Because of this poor rollout of the Nike Book 1, we have seen the NBA star voice his disapproval via an Instagram comment where he replied, "A lot of people feel the same way," to a post stating, "Is Nike fumbling the D Book 1 launch?"
Earlier last year, we also saw Reebok bring Shaquille O'Neil as the president of Reebok Basketball back in November 2023. Since seeing Booker's comment on Instagram, O'Neil has voiced his welcome for the NBA star to ditch Nike and join Reebok Basketball. This exciting move might be a game changer for Reebok, stay tuned for more updates regarding this situation as it unfolds.
