Montreal-based designer JJJJound and California-based sneaker brand Vans conducted a meeting of the minds and are now ready to put forth the fruits of their labor. The partnership dates back to 2017 and already has a handful of sneaker collabs in the vault. The newest edition to the JJJJound x Vans family is an Sk8-Hi that represents the minimalist, monochromatic style that JJJJound is known for.
The cream-colored JJJJoound x Vans Sk8-Hi uses a mixture of materials to give the shoe its character. Cream-colored suede is used on the forefoot, while white canvas dresses the medial panels. The Sk8-Hi boasts a cream midsole with the usual vans waffle on the undercarriage, crisp white laces, and an ever-so-subtle highlight to the shoes.
The JJJJound x Vans Sk8 Hi is expected to release exclusively through JJJJounds online shop in the coming months as part of the designer SS23 lineup. Information on sizing and pricing is still unknown, so check back for updates. Follow us on Twitter and Instagram for all the latest news on sneakers, streetwear, and collectibles.
