Initially teased last week in an Instagram post, we now have more concrete information regarding the release of the upcoming JJJJound x Salomon XT-Wings 2 drop. Coming in a subtle Off-White and Lapis Blue color blocking, the collaboration highlights Salomon's XT-Wings 2 silhouette. The XT-Wings 2 was originally released in 2011 as a high-performance trail runner, featuring a unique chunky midsole and a striking upper. The collaboration showcases details such as JJJJound branding on the medial heel, quicklace™ white lacing system, off-white synthetic upper, and a minimalistic color scheme. The XT-Wings 2 is one of the more under-the-radar silhouettes in the Salomon Sportstyle lineup and with Summer approaching, we are likely to see more of this silhouette.
The JJJJound x Salomon XT-Wings 2 launches exclusively on JJJJound's web-store Thursday, June 1st. The collaboration will see a global release on Friday, June 2nd on Salomon and at other select retailers.
