When Marcus Jordan appeared on the final episode of the Full Size Run show earlier this week, he brought out much more than the Trophy Room x Air Jordan samples from previous releases. He also brought two pairs of the Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low OGs that will be released early next year. Marcus said the two-pack release is inspired by his father's 1986 Fleer rookie card and a picture from Sports Illustrated where MJ was snapped wearing his Bulls warm-up suit on a putting green while wearing a pair of Black Toes.
The Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Home & Away" is constructed with a Reverse Black Toe color blocking using red tips and black heels. The material selection incorporates the shoe inspiration using a polyester blend similar to that used on warm-up kits in the 80s. The subtle hints of blue and yellow trim on the panels tie in with the colors found on the Fleer card. The difference between the two pairs is minimal as the "Home" pair has a white swoosh, and the "Away" pair has a black one.
Obtaining a pair of the Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Home & Away" will be no small task. The "Home" pair is a Trophy Room exclusive and will only be available at the Orlando, FLA location. The "Away" will see a public release via the SNKRS App but will surely be in minimal production. Both pairs are said to release March 21st, 2024 for a retail price of $140.
