The Korean-based design house has been a player in the sneaker world thanks to a longstanding partnership with New Balance. During Paris Fashion Week, they debuted a three-piece New Balance 550 collection and have worked on a handful of other silhouettes in the past. Now, the brand aims to have the streets ready for the winter elements with the thisisneverthat x Timberland capsule.
There may not be another piece of footwear with more street cred than traditional Tims, but the thisisneverthat collab aims to dress them up a bit with a “Beef & Broccoli” colorway. They start with the street standard 6” boot and swap the butter-soaked nubuck for deep chocolate suede. A realist-green quarter panel is layered in with laces to match. Black soles, collars, and co-branded logos make thisisneverthat x Timberland ready for all occasions. In addition to the boots, the capsule includes other vintage-style apparel pieces and accessories.
The thisisneverthat x Timberland capsule is a Korea and Japan exclusive that will only be released via the brand's online and in-store platforms on December 15th. It’s unlikely that the US will ever see a release, but tune in to our Twitter and Instagram for any potential updates.
