Update (6/23/23): Thisisneverthat and New Balance took the opportunity to debut a 3 pack of 550s at Paris Fashion Week. A brown pair of the collab was reveal back in April but the dropped 2 more colors exclusively at Paperboys in Paris in addition to the brown pair a jade green, and bubble gum pink went up for sale. No details about possible additional releases are available as of this writing.
New Balance has once again joined forces with Korean-based design house thisisneverthat for an upcoming 550 model. The two are no strangers to the collaboration having previously joined forces on more than half a dozen projects in the past such as the 1906R, and 827. This time their creative efforts are going towards the low-profile 550.
While the majority of their previous releases have been based along the grayscale the New Balance x thisisneverthat 550 will be a much different approach. The early images of the shoe show a dark chocolate brown canvas upper. From what we can see the kicks will feature a premium cracked leather New Balance logo, black laces, and a black midsole and outsole.
Any release details that may be available are shrouded in secrecy at the moment and these few pics are all that we have.
