The Sneaker World Has A New Major Player With Austin Reaves New Signature Shoe

The Sneaker World Has A New Major Player With Austin Reaves New Signature Shoe

Following in the footsteps of one of the game's greats, Austin Reaves will be launching his own signature shoe with a Singapore based retailer.  The AR1 will be designed and released by the brand Rigorer, but who knows if these will have the success of Dwane Wade and Li-Nang.

Though all we’ve seen so far is a computer rendering the shoe gives off some Jordan Tatum 1 vibes. The mock up is dressed in the Lake Show signature purple and yellow with a white foam midsole. The white portions could be TPU but it’s impossible to tell from the digital images. With Reaves being on the fast track to Goat status it’s a wonder other brands didn’t snatch him up sooner.

Reaves has been seen wearing Rigorer’s throughout the season already and we will probably see the AR1 soon, possibly by the summer. When they do drop it will likely be exclusive to Rigorer's flagship online store but we’ll have to wait and see. Given that their website gives off some serious Alibaba.com vibes it's hard to imagine these shoes having much success in the states. Props to Reaves though, he’s played well enough for a company give him a signature sure and that’s more than we can say for the other 99% of NBA Players.
