Originally released in 2009, the Nike Air Foamposite One Eggplant was a hit. 8 years later in 2017, the Nike Air Foamposite One 'Eggplant' returned to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Nike Air Foamposites. Now, 7 years later, the Nike Air Foamposite One Eggplant is expected to be re-released once again in Spring 2024.
The Nike Air Foamposite One Eggplant is expected to feature the same design as the 2017 version. We'll see the Varsity Purple Foamposite shell with a shiny gradient finish. The rest of the sneaker will be dressed in Black mesh and nubuck, we also can't forget the classic carbon fiber underfoot.
