Legendary designer Tinker Hatfield made a name for himself by creating some of the most notorious Air Jordan models to date. When Jordan Brand was just starting out, Tinker Hatfield helped catapult the Jumpman brand to new heights. To honor him, Jordan Brand will be releasing a new sneaker model coined the Air Jordan MVP, the pair takes elements from a trio of Air Jordan models: The Air Jordan 5, Air Jordan 7, and Air Jordan 8.
In an exquisite blend of colors including White, Cardinal Red, Vivid Orange, and Black, the Jordan MVP exudes a captivating aesthetic. Paying homage to the legendary Air Jordan 7 Cardinal edition, which last graced our presence in 2022, this rendition stands as a remarkable tribute. Crafted with a White leather upper adorned with strategically placed perforations for optimal breathability, it tastefully incorporates contrasting Red and Orange accents that effortlessly catch the eye. Drawing inspiration from the three iconic Air Jordans, this extraordinary creation showcases intricate details on the tongues, TPU paint strokes, midsole, and the crystal-clear translucence of its outsole. The lateral ankle proudly boasts the distinguished Jumpman embroidery, while the Nike Air branding on the heel serves as a distinguished touch. Completing the design is a White and Red rubber sole, complemented by an Orange Jumpman motif beneath, adding the final strokes of finesse.
Although no official release date has surfaced for the Air Jordan MVP, we expect the release to take place before 2023 comes to a close. The pair will release in a full family size run on Nike.com and at select Jordan Brand retailers for $165.
