The Air Jordan 1 KO is gaining popularity after the release of the Union x AJKO 1 Low collaboration. Jordan Brand isn’t missing a beat and will capitalize on the hype by releasing a Bleached Aqua colorway this summer.
The KO in the name pays homage to Michael Jordans ability to decimate his opponents on the court. The original design that first surfaced in the 1980s was specifically crafted for the tough battles on the court, the pair was constructed with a canvas upper that was extra resistant to wear and tear. The latest version of the KO series comes draped in a Bleached Aqua canvas throughout the overlays and Nike Swooshes. The vamp and base of the sneaker comes dressed in a white canvas material that matches both the laces and midsole unit. Nike Air and Jordan Brand co-branding can be seen on the tongue tags and ankle collars, while mesh tongues and the usual Jordan Wings branding are seen in white.
The Air Jordan 1 KO Bleached Aqua is prepped for a May 25, 2023, release date. You'll be able to pick a pair up on Nike.com and at select Jordan Brand retailers for $150.
