The story behind the Jordan Why Not 0.6 is a sad one. The signature shoe of NBA superstar Russell Westbrook is now on its sixth iteration and is bringing back a familiar theme. KB3 is a tribute to Westbrook's childhood best friend, Khelsy Barrs III who passed away at the young age of 16. Throughout his career, Westbrook has paid tribute to KB3 with previous shoe releases and various other adornments he’s worn on-court, but this new shoe may be the best homage to date.
The Jordan Why Not .6 is composed of a blue whisper upper and matching outsole. The .6’s signature zipper jacket comes equipped with a red-to-orange ombre feature that is a bit of a show stopper. The shoes feature Russel Westbrook's signature logo on the inner medial panel and use a host of different materials.
The Jordan Why Not .6 KB3 is currently lined up for a 2023 release date with a price tag of $140. Expect to see the hoop shoes load up and be available from Nike and other select retailers nationwide.
