The shoe that typified laid-back style and comfort is back for a second run. The Nike Roshe was everywhere a decade ago. It came in countless colorways and was a bit of a status symbol. It's lightweight, it's comfortable, and it's back…or at least Sole Retriever thinks so.
Nike has been digging back in the archives to reintroduce old silhouettes, and while the Roshe isn't nearly as old as the Air Mac Attack or Air Ship, it may have been more popular than both. More recently, the Roshe has taken residence at Nike Outlets and other discount retailers after losing steam due to over-saturating the market. Nike now hopes that a few years on the shelf will help the shoe reclaim its popularity while honoring its legacy with the Roshe One moniker.
The Roshe One will return to its original form with a knit-bound upper and single-structure white foam sole. The 2023 collection will feature nine simplistic colorways with specific offerings for women and children. The Nike Roshe One is expected to release in the Fall of 2023 and will release via Nike and other select retailers. The collection will have budget-friendly pricing across the board; $75 for adults, $65 for GS, $55 for PS, and $48 for TD.
