Once leaks of the Nigel Sylvester Air Ship Bike Air started popping up, the sneaker world took notice. People who had never heard of Sylvester or the Air Ship were suddenly in need of a pair. Was it because the Bike Air was later confirmed to be a friends and family pair and people knew they wouldn’t be able to touch a pair? Or was it because the shoe was so cold that the streets actually liked it? We will find out soon.
Images just leaked of a Nike Air Ship that is a virtual clone of the Nigel Sylvester Air Bike. The new leaks came with confirmation that the Air Ship will release to the public sometime this summer. The two shoes feature the same base white leather upper but the blue on the general release (GR) pair is just a marginal shade darker. Believe it or not, the GR pair actually uses upgraded cracked leather in place of the smooth full-grain leather on the exclusive pair. The only truly noticeable difference is that the eye stays on the Bike Air are cream-colored while the Air Ship model opts for the blue tone. The two pairs also have mildly different branding, the friends and family exclusive has “Bike Air” labeled on the collar whereas the GR pair has the phrase “Every Game”. Other than that, the shoes are identical. It should be very interesting to see how this shoe performs and if people really just want what they can’t have.
The Nike Air Jordan Air Ship Every Game is set to launch with a retail of $140 and will release in the coming months. You can expect to see this pair released on the SNKRS App and possibly at other select retailers nationwide.
