Retros Aren’t Just For Jordans Anymore As The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Team Red Keeps The Silhouette Running
The reemergence of the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 started late last year and was Nike’s way to compete with the New Balance “Dad shoes”. Since its reintroduction, the Vomero 5 has been treated to an untold amount of colorways and releases. The Vomero 5 was even included in this year's Doernbecher collection and that shoe is being talked about as a contender for Sneaker Of The Year. Needless to say, the Vomero 5 looks like it’s going to be sticking around for a while.
The newest colorway in the retro collection will be the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Team Red. The Kit Kat candy bar-looking shoe features a red mesh base brown stencil work on the toe box and on the medial cages. The silver leather overlays on throughout the upper are held together by the TPU heel cap. There's also no shortage of action on the undercarriage either as the brown, silver, and red tones all make their way to the midsole and outsole.
Even though the official images have indeed loaded up on Nike there has not been any sign of release details. The $160 price tag is standard on all of the recent Vomero retros and you can expect to see them available on the SNKRS App when their day comes.
