It’s been some time since we’ve seen a new Nike SB silhouette, but now the Nike SB React Leo is here. Nike SB skater Leo Baker wanted to design a shoe similar to his all-time favorite skate shoe, the SB Bruin High. Still, the shoe looks like something else you may have seen before.
The silhouette is rather sleek and streamlined and has a shape and paneling that makes one wonder if Baker was a fan of the Air Max Penny 1. The introductory colorway is simple “White/Black” and has a white leather-based upper with white suede overlays. The rounded-off quarter panel is piped in black with a black leather swoosh over the top. The Leo SB has a white midsole contrasted with a black outsole, and a ribbon-style heel pull tab rounds out Bakers' first offering to the skate shoe world.
The Nike SB React Leo is slated for a release in Fall 2023 with a price tag of $95. The shoes will be available on the Nike SNKRS app and at select skate shops nationwide.
