Nike Sabrina 1 “Ionic” Gets September 1st Release Date

Fresh off a mind-boggling WNBA All-Star Weekend 3-Point Shootout performance, the Nike Sabrina 1 will finally hit the shelves. The first colorway to reach the market will be the “Ionic,” followed shortly after by the “Oxygen Purple.” The debut silhouette was first introduced in March, and after a long wait, basketball players and sneakerheads will finally have the chance to own a pair.
The Nike Sabrina 1 “Ionic” offers a muted colorway on a silhouette that resembles the Kobe 6 Protro. The mesh-based upper uses the photon-dust color and is highlighted by intricate embroidery work around the toebox and eye stays. Sheer paneling on the midfoot makes the hollowed black swooshes stand out as the lone source of actual color on the shoe. The court-side undercarriage features the iridescent fuscia-dream on the outsole, giving the shoe a shiny, glowing effect. In addition to the shoe itself, an inspiring message from Sabrina is inscribed on the inside of the box, making for a truly special commemoration of her debut shoe.
