Nike Kobe 6 Protro Reverse Grinch Releases This December
After being seen on NBA players such as PJ Tucker and Anthony Davis as early as 2021, Nike Basketball is confirmed to release the Nike Kobe 6 Protro "Reverse Grinch" this December as part of their Holiday 2023 collection.
The color arrangement of the well-known Kobe 6 Protro Grinch has been flipped, adorning the entire faux-snakeskin upper, mesh tongue, and TPU overlays with various tones of bright crimson, while the laces and Mamba logo on the tongue embody the electric green reminiscent of the Grinch. Positioned on the side is a black Nike Swoosh, extending toward a semi-translucent red heel counter that showcases golden Kobe branding. The monochromatic red theme extends to the sock liner and tongue lining, accompanied by a red Zoom Air-cushioned midsole and a textured rubber outsole, culminating in a cohesive aesthetic makeover.

Nike is giving Kobe fans an early chance to secure the upcoming Kobe 6 Protro Reverse Grinch ahead of its global release date. A portion of stock will be released via Exclusive Access within the Nike SNKRS app on December 5th. Exclusive Access will be sent out to select Nike Members (1) who have entered and lost on at least six Kobe signature footwear launches since August 2020 and (2) have purchased other performance basketball footwear or apparel since 2022. Exclusive Access is not guaranteed to all Nike Members who meet the explicit requirements and does not guarantee general availability.
