Travis Scott and John McEnroe have teamed up to reintroduce the Nike Mac Attack. The reintroduction comes as a part of Nike's “Rebel Like the OG” campaign. The release has been teased in the last several months as the Houston-based rapper has made several appearances rocking the Mac Attack. After weeks of silence, release details for the upcoming Nike Mac Attack "OG" have finally been confirmed.
The Mac Attack was originally released as a tennis shoe in 1984 for John McEnroe. The release is making its first re-appearance this year since that initial release. Nike's retro release of this silhouette features the OG colorway, collaborations with brands such as Social Status, and other new colorways. The retro release of the Nike Mac Attack "OG" features its original Light Smoke Grey, Black, and White color blocking. The sneaker comes in a mix of mesh and leather, nylon tongues that sport checkered labels, and bright red Nike Air branding. An extra set of laces and checkered special packaging are also expected.
The Nike Mac Attack "OG" is restocking January 26th on the Nike SNKRS app and at select Nike Sportswear retailers for $120. You can expect to see more colorways release in the coming months.
