Nike Is Blessing The Kids With A Spider-Man Inspired Nike Air Max Plus
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High Spider-Man Origin Story dropped in 2018, in honor of Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse. Now Nike plans to drop another Air Jordan 1 High OG for the release of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse movie that hits theaters June 2nd, 2023. With this release already in the works, Nike's Air Max team has been working on their own model for the kids to celebrate the release of the film.
Although not explicitly associated with the film, this GS-only model of the Nike Air Max Plus pays tribute to the much-awaited Spider-Man movie. Its unique colorway boasts a striking combination of black and blue mesh on the upper, complemented by tumbled leather tongues, mudguards, and heels in black. The design also includes a gradient TPU overlay and shank plate, which give the red and blue tones more life. The signature TN branding placements serve as the finishing touch to the shoe's overall design, along with the Nike Air Max bubble sole unit that holds the whole design together.
With the movie releasing in early June, we anticipate the Air Max Plus GS Spider-Man to release around the same time. The retail price for the pair will be $145 and will be made available on the Nike SNKRS app and select Nike retailers exclusively in GS sizing.
