The Nike Air Max 1 The Bay Is Dedicated To The Bay Area
The Nike Air Max 1 is making its return in 2023, not only is Nike planning to release the Air Max 1 '86 Big Bubble but its also dedicating an Air Max 1 to the Bay Area. The Bay Area is a hub for sneaker culture and deserves the recognition from Nike.
The Air Max 1 The Bay features a white leather upper that dominates the side panels and vamp. Suede can be seen used on the mudguard extending to the heel, while a fuzzy cotton material can be seen above the vamp area and surrounding the tongue. A curved red and gold feather can be seen embroidered on the side panels, mimicking a Nike Swoosh. Additional details include "The Bay" on the tongue tag in place of the Nike branding, and a metal Nike Coast hang tag attached to the laces. Nike Air branding is seen at the heel, while the pair is completed by a white Air Max sole unit and a white and gum brown traction outsole.
Although The Nike Air Max The Bay has yet to receive a concrete release date, we anticipate an April 2023 release date. Retail remains a mystery, but the shoe is expected to release on the Nike SNKRS app and select Nike retailers in both GS and Mens sizing.
