Earlier this year, we got the first news of the return of the Nike Air Max SNDR. Originally released in 1999, the Nike Air Max Sunder was designed primarily for cross-training, the sneaker was versatile enough to be worn as streetwear. The Air Sunder Max was notable for its futuristic design, featuring a Lycra spandex upper and a "heel lock fit system." It also included medial and lateral TRP pods, along with visible Air-Sole units in the heel and forefoot, which were hallmarks of Nike's Air technology at the time. Nike will be bringing back this iconic sneaker this Fall 2024 in celebration of the Air legacy. Releasing in "Burgundy Crush," take a first look at the pair below.
The Nike Air Max SNDR “Burgundy Crush” features a color palette including White, Burgundy Crush, and Black hues. The spandex upper arrives in White, with a zip-up design instead of classic laces, arriving in Burgundy. Across the mudguards we'll see reflective dots in panels adding to the look. The White midsole features Max Air cushioning, providing for a comfortable step sitting atop a Black rubber outsole to finish off the look.
The Nike Air Max SNDR “Burgundy Crush” (W) is set to release on Fall/Winter 2024 via Nike SNKRS App and other select Nike retailers for a retail price of $180. To stay informed on all things Nike Brand and to stay up to date with the latest releases, connect with us on Instagram and Twitter.
