The Nike Air Max 97 Futura is an updated version of the classic Air Max 97 silhouette, featuring various materials like ballistic mesh, nubuck, tumbled leather, and suede in different colorways, released back in 2023. In 2022, we saw the release of the Nike Air Max OG "Silver Bullet," which pays homage to Christian Tresser's original design cues from Japan's bullet trains. We'll now get a new "Silver Bullet" colorway to the Air Max 97 Futura lineup, expected to be released this Spring season.
The Nike Air Max 97 Futura “Silver Bullet” features a very similar design and colorway to the 2022 release. We'll see a Matte Silver base mesh layer with Metallic Silver leather overlays. The inner lining will be found in Black, with a Red Nike Swoosh to complete the look. The exposed Air Max cushioning seen within the White midsole keeps the sneaker looking fresh, with a Black rubber outsole to finish off the look.
