It's been a few months since we saw a new Air Max 1 colorway. Don't fret. Nike has us covered and will bring back the OG "Obsidian" colorway released in 1987. This remake of the original will feature practically identical colors and styling, creating a perfect rendition of the classic sneaker.
The Nike Air Max 1 '86 "Obsidian" features a minimalistic neutral colorway with Fire Red accents for added flare. The upper will be constructed of suede and mesh. The base mesh layer will be found in a basic white, with the suede overlays in grey. The tongue tab, laces, and ankle padding will also be white. The Nike Swoosh and mudguard will be found in black. The Nike logo on the heel and tongue tab and the lace loops will be found in the classy Fire Red. The midsole will be white with the exposed Air Unit for everyone to see. The outsole will be finished in black, with the front found in Fire Red.
