To celebrate Hangul Day, which commemorates the invention and proclamation of the Korean alphabet, Nike will be releasing a special edition Air Force 1 Low Gore-Tex. The Hangul Day collection has seen the likes of the Nike Dunk Low and Air Max 1, with the latest release being this AF1 Low Gore-Tex. Arriving in a minimal style, this special edition sneaker features Tan, Cream, and Gum hues.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Gore-Tex “Hangul Day” features the latest Gore-Tex technology, allowing for added durability and water resistance. This also means that the materials used will differ slightly from the original Air Force 1. The base layer will be constructed of ballistic mesh, in a cream color. Tan leather overlays will be found and will extend to the tongue tab, laces, and Nike Swoosh. "GORE-TEX" branding will be etched in white on the lateral heel and found on the tongue tab. The rubber midsole will be found in cream, and a gum outsole with added tread to finish the look. Expect to see this sneaker release sometime next month, and stay tuned for further updates.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Gore-Tex “Hangul Day” is expected to be released this October via Nike.com and other select Nike retailers for a retail of $150. To stay informed on all things Nike Brand and to stay up to date with the latest releases, connect with us on Instagram and Twitter.
