Kai Cenat has been dominating the streaming industry, he only started his steaming career a couple of years ago and has already became the most-subscribed Twitch streamer in the world. At the 12th annual streamy awards he was named Streamer Of The Year and has since brought in millions of dollars in revenue to Twitch. Kai Cenat has publicly voiced his desire for a 10 million dollar contract from Twitch, but it seems Twitch had other plans to congratulate the Streamers monumental achievements.
Twitch requested the services of Lucia Foot Wear Co. to create a custom pair of Nike Air Force 1 Highs for the proclaimed King of Twitch. The pair features a black base and purple shades on the vamp, Nike Swoosh, and the Air Force straps. The pair has "King of Twitch" on the lateral toe box and a Twitch crown on the lateral heel.
The problem with the shoe isn’t the color blocking or the message, the problem is the pair is hideous. The shoe looks like a cheap attempt at showing Kai the respect he deserves. The pairs Nike Swoosh is the main feature and was bedazzled with stones that don't fit with the rest of the shoe, in fact the stones look cheap. It's a pitiful attempt at keeping their biggest contributor happy and when Kai was presented with the shoe his face showed the disappointment. Lucia Foot Wear Co. has been receiving the backlash it deserves on social media, and while looking through their portfolio we have no Idea why Twitch commissioned them.
Twitch brought in an astounding 2.8 billion dollars in revenue last year and is sending a horrible message to its content creators with this gesture. To stay up to date with the latest sneaker releases and news, connect with us on Instagram and Twitter.
