Nike Air Force 1 “Light Smoke Grey” Brings Some Subtle Updates To The Classic

Nike Air Force 1 “Light Smoke Grey” Brings Some Subtle Updates To The Classic

Nike Air Force 1 “Light Smoke Grey” Brings Some Subtle Updates To The Classic

The time has come for Bruce Kilgores Hall of Fame-worthy Air Force 1 design to receive a makeover. The original design has stood the test of time like few others have. Few other shoes can boast a longevity of popularity that stems back to the mid-80s. The Air Force 1 has become a legend of the streets as it still holds relativity today.

The time has come for some simple augmentations to the shoe in the form of the Air Force 1 “Light Smoke Grey.” At first glance, it looks like a standard AF1, but upon closer look, we see the use of nubuck on the toe box and medials. The toe box is also perforated for breathability and, combined with the nubuck, should cut down a bit on the all too easy-to-crease reputation the AF1 has. The light smoke grey nubuck is complimented with full-grain leather overlays and speckled white midsole. The updated AF1s also feature a new branding package with a more modern font used for the Nike logos on the heel and tongue.

The Air Force 1 “Light Smoke Grey” will be released in the coming months for $110. Expect to see the shoes become available on the SNKRS App and at other select retailers. For more news on sneaker drops, follow us on Twitter and Instagram.
