Remember that old canvas bag your mother or father used to use to keep all their gardening tools in? Well, renowned designer Nicole McLaughlin, has decided to turn that canvas bag into a pair of vans according to her most recent Instagram post.
Known for her work with well-known brands like Prada, Crocs, and Calvin Klein, McLaughlin's style frequently features attaching functional items to a particular garment. The upcoming offering with Vans keeps that theme and takes it to the garden. Much like the old canvas garden tool bags the off-white and hunter green Vans come equipped with several pouches to stash your pruning shears and handles that make them easy to carry. The garden tote themed kicks are built on the Vans Classic Slip-on with enhanced cushion insoles. The tote shoes are based on a cream-colored canvas with hunter green trim on the pouches and toe box with matching “handles”.
McLaughin’s post only said the collab was “coming soon” so were still on standby for an actual release date and pricing info. The pair is likely to release via Vans online shop and other select retailers.
