The New Balance 991v2 "Wind Chime" Releases August 2026

New Balance is expanding its Made in England 991v2 roster with the "Wind Chime" colorway, a muted combination of beige suede, white mesh, and grey trim that keeps the silhouette's understated character front and center.

Wind Chime suede wraps the mudguard, eyestays, collar, and heel, while Brilliant White mesh fills in the toe box, tongue, and side panels. Flint Grey lands on the reflective "N" logos, lace eyelets, tongue label, heel overlay, and padded rear tab. The signature oval 991 badge sits near the lateral heel and V2 embroidery runs across the back, preserving the standard 991v2 details. Light grey lining carries the subdued palette into the interior. The sole unit adds a bit of visual separation, with an off-white forefoot transitioning into Flint Grey at the heel. FuelCell and ABZORB cushioning sit below, complemented by mauve-tinted ABZORB SBS pods at the forefoot and heel, with a grey rubber outsole rounding out the build.
