When LeBron James introduced Mimi LaPlange to the sneaker world in 2021, it was clear that her vibrant, fashion-forward style had officially arrived. The four-pack of Nike Lebron 18 Lows had a certain flair that had been somewhat void in a design world that has become increasingly focused on vintage appeals with faux-aging treatments. Now the Mimi LaPlange x Nike LeBron 20 is ready for the sophomore edition of their partnership.
The LaPlange 20 picks up right where the 18s left off. A stark white upper constructed with a rattan-style weave and a healthy dose of vibrance. Guava-ice floral patterns decorate the forefoot, sock liner, and TPU swoosh. A bold berry tongue provides a backdrop for multi-colored laces that tie up the design package. The footbed is made up of a bright white midsole and white outsole textured with the pattern we’ve seen on the previous colorways of the LeBron 20.
The Mimi LaPlange x Nike Lebron 20 is rumored to be released with the Fall 2023 lineup. The special edition release will cost $250 and will be a SNKRS App exclusive.
