Update (5/3/23): Official images have been released by Nike.
As Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics look poised to advance to the next round of the NBA Playoffs the Jordan Tatum is just as poised to make its name in the sneaker world. The Tatum 1 colorways has no shortage of creativity with previous releases paying homage to the Archer Ave (the street he grew up on), his mother, and there's even brunch themed shoes made as a PE for Pablo Banchero.
The Jordan Tatum 1 was initially teased at this year's All-Star Weekend and has been seen all over the court since then. The four-time NBA All-Star is known around the league for his commitment to keeping a fresh fade well groomed beard. Now he has the shoes to honor that commitment. The shoe uses coconut milk as the primary color throughout the mesh upper and TPU frame while black accents bring out the lace box and hell cup. The barbershop theme is made prominent on the hell tag as it features the red and blue candy striped pole that is synonymous with an old school hair cuttery. The Tatum 1 Barber also uses hints of gold on the logo’s and a gum outsole.
The shoe Jordan Tatum 1 Barbershop is said to be releasing very soon with May 16 marked on the calendar. Retail will be in line with the $120 price tag the rest of the Tatum 1’s carry and will drop on the SNKRS App and at other select retailers nationwide.
