Not many sports franchises are fortunate enough to have one of the godfathers of streetwear stand as part of their creative team. The NY Knicks, however, are so fortunate. NY native and founder of Kith, Ronnie Fieg, is the Creative Director for the team and has been making his mark on the team since day 1. After putting the Kith spin on the Knicks “City Edition” uniforms this year, he put out a New Balance collaboration paying homage to Madison Square Garden (MSG), the arena that the Knicks call home.
Fieg and Kith have assembled a full-on NY Knicks collection to be released as part of their popular Monday Program. Kith recently posted a blog revealing select pieces of the campaign modeled by Knicks legends Carmelo Anthony, Larry Johnson, Latrell Sprewell, and more. The blog revealed several pieces ranging from outerwear to rugby shirts, leather-made warm-up jackets. Additional pieces will include vintage tee shirts, hoodies, and other accessories, including hats and beanies. There’s sure to be more from the Kith for the NY Knicks 2023 campaign, just as there was with the Kith NY Giants campaign earlier this year.
The Kith x Knicks collection will first drop via a special pop-up at MSG when the Knicks take on the San Antonio Spurs on November 8th. After that, a global release will be on November 10th via Kith’s online platforms and mobile app. We keep tabs on all the latest streetwear and sneaker releases, so check in with our Twitter and Instagram when you need an update.
