Durant signed with the Just Do It brand back in 2007 when KD entered his rookie year with the Seattle Supersonics. Nike's decision to sign Durant turned out to be fruitful for both parties involved, the partnership has produced 15 signature sneaker releases and a 16th on the way. The lifetime partnership deal will include footwear, apparel, and a philanthropic collaboration centered around grassroots basketball. Grassroots basketball focuses on court refurbishments in at-need communities across the globe through the Durant Family Foundation.
This agreement is a testament to the strength of the relationship between the two parties and places Durant among an exclusive group of Nike athletes, including Michael Jordan and LeBron James.
