The Nike KD 3 isn’t the first sneaker in Kevin Durant's signature line to receive the Aunt Pearl treatment, back in 2011 the KD line saw the Nike KD 4 receive the Pink colorway in honor of Kevin Durants aunt who passed away from breast cancer.
This offering of the Nike KD 3 features a Medium Soft Pink upper that extends to the overlays, laces, and tongue tag. The Lotus Pink color can be seen on the side panels in a mesh like material, while a white Nike Swoosh extends from the side panel to the heel. The Midsole is a mix off white, Medium Soft Pink, and Lotus Pink, and features new age Nike basketball technology. Sales from the sneakers will also raise money for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
